A Day Together
Every month, we organize "A Day Together" events to spend time with our brothers and sisters who have recently embraced Islam.

These activities take place either at our center or in the spiritual atmosphere of the Suleymaniye Mosque's courtyard. During these events, we strengthen our bonds with our newly converted brothers and sisters. Additionally, throughout the day, our volunteers make an effort to accompany them on this journey by presenting a different topic related to Islam each month.

Ramadan Iftars
During Ramadan, we invite our non-Muslim visitors to our daily iftars. This is an opportunity for us to share the message of Islam with visitors from different cultures and background based on the wisdom behind the fasting ritual.

During Ramadan, we hold our iftars every day at our center. We also hold one special Ramadan iftar at the Suleymaniye Mosque garden with all of our guests and volunteers, both local and foreign.

We have received very positive feedbacks from our visitors who have attended iftars. They have told us that they were impressed by the beauty of the iftars, the sense of community, and the peaceful atmosphere.
We are committed to continue to invite non-Muslims to iftars, and we believe that this is an important way to promote understanding and tolerance between different religions.

Specifically, the following are some of the things that we do at our iftars:

  • We provide information about Islam and the fasting ritual.
  • We have discussions about the meaning of Islam and its relevance to our lives.
  • We provide opportunities for our visitors to ask questions about Islam.
We believe that these activities help our visitors to understand Islam in a more meaningful way.

A Step Away
We care about the continuation of the journey for the visitors who are interested in or close to Islam.

We continue to keep in touch with them, pray that Allah will grant them the guidance that He has granted us, and strive to do our best in this way. We systematically follow up with the visitors who want to do more research and think. We held weekly and monthly online seminars, social media shares, a communication channel that is always open to questions and answers, and a monthly email system.

We believe that no encounter is a coincidence. Everyone we meet in the volunteer process is important to us and we see it as our duty to do our best for them. Sometimes we share the joy with the news of their shahadah of these brothers and sisters a year later, sometimes a few weeks later, and thank Allah. The effort is ours, the guidance is from Allah.
Friday Prayers

Friday prayers bring together the basic values of Islam such as brotherhood, helping, and solidarity. Friday prayers are one of the most important religious events in Islam. They are held every Friday afternoon, and they are a time for Muslims to come together to worship Allah, listen to the sermon, and pray for guidance and blessings.

We invite our visitors to Friday prayers to share the the joy of our togetherness and abundant blessings of Friday and we provide them with information about the prayer and Islam. We receive very good feedbacks from our visitors, sometimes they just watch, sometimes want to participate in the prayer. In addition, we have witnessed many times that observing or experiencing those fruitful minutes when we communicate with Allah during prayer awakens different lofty feelings in the heart of a non-Muslim. They have told us that they were impressed by the beauty of the prayers, the sense of community, and the peaceful atmosphere.

Exploring Our Initiatives
at Suleymaniye Mosque
At KİM Foundation, what we're doing is all about making information accessible, fostering connections, and sharing the rich heritage of our mosques.
Engaging Conversations
We take great pleasure in establishing connections with international tourists who visit our mosques. In over 7 languages, we engage in conversations with visitors, imparting the core values of our beliefs and fostering meaningful interactions.
Thanks to our mosque's exclusive software-prepared Cami-Tablet project, we facilitated the process to get information about the mosque and Islam for the visitors in 8 different languages without the need for assistance.
Our foundation allocates a significant portion of its budget to the printing of books, Quran translations, and brochures. We actively engage in the distribution of these materials in numerous mosques.
Indeed, you cannot guide whom you will, but Allah guides whom He wills, and He knows best those who are guided.
